NIKKI & KARL ~ Russell

I’ve been itching share this !!! This is one seriously adorable wedding!

The location was Russell in the Bay Of Islands. This has to be one (and there are a few) of my favourite wedding venues in the Far North.

Nikki and Karl’s wedding Ooozzed’ STYLE, they themed the wedding with modern shabby chic/vintage details, from Nikki’s gorgeous lace dress…(must ask Nikki details of where it came from),  to the old bike, pale vintage rose, vintage birdcages, suitcases, cushions picnic basket,  lounge suite, cushions and assorts of other yummy props.

Their ceremony took place in the backyard of an old Villa, situated in the back streets of Russell and the reception followed in the evening at the Duke Of Marlborough.

Myself and the wedding party spent the afternoon mooching (more like high tailing it!),  around Russell to all the great locations. We dragged props here and there and together we made images that make me giddy with smiles!

What an awesomely  great day working with you guys and your bridal party …

DAWN AND DOMINIC get married | Wiatangi | exposure photographics

Just look at this gorgeous couple … I hadn’t met Dominic or Dawn prior to their wedding day, you see they live in Sydney !

My into’ to Dom was the below shot, 4 guys, barely clad, in MILKMAN undies… no less…not a bad start to my day!

Dom and Dawn were married atop the Waiatangi Treaty Grounds, on the cliff edge. During the ceremony it was so hot they had to take shelter under their brollies and not long after the ceremony ended a storm opened up over Russell and Paihia with dark black clouds and thunder rumbling all around!  Despite the 4 seasons in one-day weather (typical Northland) we made some great pictures together. Thank you both for letting me share your amazing wedding day, your entire wedding party was so much fun to work with!

Enjoy the preview  x

Miranda & Barnaby get married at Orakawa Bay | exposure photographics

I first met Miranda and Barnaby in the studio, as they told me the details I could sense this was going to be one to remember! The location, a small bay only accessible by boat in the Bay of Islands and an intimate crowd of family and friends to attend. The weather forecast was dismal and as I arrived by boat the drizzle prevailed but immaculately cleared in time for a beach ceremony.Following the ceremony we jumped on board the barge boat and found a remote beach to take photos and play!

..and here are the results … thank you both so much for an exceptional day !

Enjoy your preview of photos !

To update with a few new pictures I managed to get a shoot happening that I’ve had in mind for sometime. Its simple, sweet, innocent and my little girl!
