Wedding Photography FAQ

Are you a qualified Wedding Photographer ? I’m a qualified Master wedding photographer with the NZIPP  (New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography)

What is your style of photography? See for yourself by having a look through my recent weddings blogs, its a mixture of documentary wedding story telling with a touch of creativeness!

Do we get a digital copy of our photos? Absolutely, my wedding collections beautifully edited digital files delivered in high resolution and web sized files on a USB.

What happens if it rains on the wedding day? Then we get out there with some umbrellas! Amazing pictures and gorgeous moments have come out of celebrations with rainy weather…

When is the best time for the creative photos?  Try to avoid the middle of the day, when the sun is directly overhead (approx 11am – 3pm). This causes unflattering shadows and highlights on faces, and makes everyone squint! If you can, aim for a time where the sun is at a lower angle, especially for your creative session. The Golden Hour (the last hour of light before sunset) is prime portrait time.

When we will receive our image collection ? You can expect your images delivered within 8 weeks after your wedding day.

What gear do you use? I shoot on Nikon D800e’s and  a couple of D750 bodies and huge selection of lenses !

Can we have a wedding book? I have a selection of albums to choose from (including Queensberry), just ask Jess for the details.

We don’t like posing!  I am not going to get you to do any awkward posing that all make you feel uncomfortable, I want to capture my couples being their natural selves, loving, laughing and all those honest moments throughout the day.

Do you travel ? Hell yah, I love to travel, just say where and when!

How can we lock in our date ? Contact me to see if your date is available, then I will send you though some booking details and a contract.

If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask…
