So often I hear this from my Bride and Grooms…we are coming from overseas to tie the knot in NZ during the summer, what will the weather be like?
Well….these days I’m almost reluctant to say…it’ll most likely be warm but you may get 4 seasons in day ! The last 5 weddings have been exactly that, a bit of rain, some sun, maybe a breeze, maybe even howling winds…possibly a cyclone (yep Ive had one of those too)! It pays to just be a little prepared incase this scenario unfolds … I have a handful of big white umbrella so all you need to do is relax and enjoy…and remember the light is ideal for photography!
So recently when Ariana and Lloyd ventured from the UK for their wedding in Whangarei, the forecast was rain…They had the ceremony planned on the spanning lawn at Heritage Park in Whangarei… so it took some swift action & a bit of rearranging and the the ceremony was moved to the balcony of the Heritage house .
Rain, sun or snow its always beautifully memorable and you guys kicked out such an awesome day of celebrations !
Thanks for sharing you day with me and a huge Congratulations to you both x
