Normally around New Years I venture off camping with my family and friends but when Ilona and Taylor came to me and said they were having their wedding at their family bach on the Purerua Peninsular on NYE, who could decline!!! This wedding would be the wedding of all weddings!!! Plus a little unique in that firstly they are friends and that my partner Ben Flynn designed and made their rings and also my mum Sharon Burges made the stunning gold sequinned bridesmaids dresses…pretty in house I know!!
The day was nothing short of epic and so filled with love and emotion. Everyone was relaxed, Ilona you looked exceptional in your dress, not too mention the bridesmaids! And although it was gale force winds the heat of the storm held out until we were all inside and oblivious, too busy boogying to the music. I don’t think I’ve ever seen marquee poles moving up and down 2 feet off the ground!!!
You guys I just want to say it was such a privilege to be at your wedding and and an absolute honour to be asked to photograph your day. xox
