These lovely humans Tristan and Sarah celebrated their wedding in their garden in the coastal town of Tutakaka at the end of March, right on the cusp of COVID lockdown.
I feel so privileged to be there to photograph their wedding (Sarah is also a photographer and that always brings about an element of nerves and excitement). Sarah and Tristan actually met overseas on their OE’s and soon realised they were both from Northland and in fact that they lived very close to each other.
Their wedding was elegantly beautiful, they married on the lawn beside their home (THE most awesome designer home, I might add!) with their baby girl watching from the clasps of her grandparents, surrounded by the love of all their family and friends. Their day was all about celebrating their love with their guests and enjoying the moment, they specifically didn’t want to leave their guests for very long, so we did some photos around their house and in the early evening we snuck out to the beach for some photographs just before sunset.
