These lovely humans Tristan and Sarah celebrated their wedding in their garden in the coastal town of Tutakaka at the end of March, right on the cusp of COVID lockdown.
I feel so privileged to be there to photograph their wedding (Sarah is also a photographer and that always brings about an element of nerves and excitement). Sarah and Tristan actually met overseas on their OE’s and soon realised they were both from Northland and in fact that they lived very close to each other.
Their wedding was elegantly beautiful, they married on the lawn beside their home (THE most awesome designer home, I might add!) with their baby girl watching from the clasps of her grandparents, surrounded by the love of all their family and friends. Their day was all about celebrating their love with their guests and enjoying the moment, they specifically didn’t want to leave their guests for very long, so we did some photos around their house and in the early evening we snuck out to the beach for some photographs just before sunset.
Thank you for laying your trust in me to capture your day Sarah and Tristan. xox

Every single wedding I have had this year has been so utterly beautiful and I feel so lucky to have met all these wonderful couples along the way. These guys, Jess and Dan were one of these couples. The sun was shining, and the crowd was gathered as these two got hitched on Baylys Farm headland. The afternoon was celebrated with drinks, games and canapes overlooking the Bay of Islands and of course a sneak away for some photos with the bridal party. Such an epic day Jess and Dan xox

And this was very last wedding I was able to photograph last summer as 3 days after Samaria and Jason tied the knot, NZ went into level 4 full lockdown. All my weddings for the rest of summer came to a grinding holt and most were cancelled or postponed.
Samaria and Jason celebrated their beautiful elegant wedding overlooking the rolling hills and out to the ocean in the most incredible spot on the way to Oakura Bay. After the formalities were sealed they spent the afternoon celebrating with friends besides the beach. We did escape for some bridal party photos and champagne popping and just after the speeches we popped for some stunning sunset photos. Amazing day and an incredibly fun bridal party.
