Markus and Elena lived in different countries on the other side of the world from each other and during winter they tied the knot in New Zealand, in Kerikeri’s St James church. Just the two of them and a handful of family and friends. The weather was typically cold, blustery and moody but this didn’t faze these two in the least.
Thanks, Elena and Mark for sharing your lovely celebration with me x
A hour in the life of these guys!!! These guys didn’t want contrived formal family photos, they just wanted some fun family memories on their farm. I think we managed to get some great shots!!
I have known these two and their families almost as long as I have lived in Kerikeri (18 yrs already), both when we had young kids and separately, so many years later when they came together it was such an exciting celebration to be part of.
Siran and Paul tied the knot on this perfect clear sky day in mid-May on the deck at The Duke Of Marlborough surrounded their families, their six kids and many friends! Having know these guys for so long this was a really special wedding for me to be photographing and attending guest!
I feel so utterly privileged to have been part of your day and … to party until the lights went out, the last ones standing! I am happy for all beautiful family.
Becks and Matt said their I do’s at the edge of the cliff on the far point of Baylys Farm with a blue sky backdrop of the Bay Of Islands, really this is the cream of wedding locations here in the Far North. Becks and Matt’s day was filled with so much love and laughter, an amazing bridal party, an incredible sunset and a great late night party!
Hannah and Dan married in Kerikeri, nestled in the garden on a private property overlooking the Bay of Islands and surrounded by the people they love most. They celebrated with an afternoon tea and speeches and then had an evening with their bridal party.
Over the winter I was lucky enough to photograph the incredibly talented Anna Valentine cooking in her home, for the North & South Magazine. Not only did I get to oogle over her cooking skills but I was fortunate enough to eat her amazing curry she had made for the article.
Let me just say the food so delicious I left with both of Anna’s recipe books to inspire and reveive my cooking skills!
Mikey and Angela travelled from the Bay of Islands where they call home to Waiheke Island to tie the knot at Goldies Estate and I was fortunate enough to be there to capture their wedding day. It was almost like home away from home with an entourage of Kerikeri locals taking over the streets of Waiheke!
The day couldn’t have been more perfect, they married under the Pohutukawa tree with backdrop of the vineyard and Putiki Bay, surrounded by their loved ones. After the ceremony the guests gathered at the Cellar door for drinks and canapes whilst we walked through the grapevines to the beach for some photos.
For me it was absolute pleasure to be part of their journey, I have photographed their engagement and then their pregnancy and now their wedding!
Awesome vendors who were onboard to help with this amazing day!
