For more than twenty years I’ve photographed weddings across Northland and throughout New Zealand, from intimate elopements to celebrations with hundreds of guests.
No two weddings are ever the same, and that’s exactly how I like it. My job isn’t to squeeze your day into a formula. It’s to photograph it as it unfolds, capturing the big moments, the tiny moments and everything in between.
I want your photographs to feel like your wedding, not a photoshoot. I’ll guide you when you need it, especially during portraits, but the rest of the day is about letting things unfold naturally while I quietly document everything around you.
A limited number of weddings each year
I only photograph a small number of weddings each season, which means I can give every couple the time and attention they deserve, from the lead-up to the wedding through to the final gallery.

You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera. I’ll guide you when you need it, particularly for portraits, without turning your wedding into one long photoshoot.

I’m always watching what’s happening around me. The reactions, conversations, ridiculous moments, happy tears and things you probably didn’t even notice at the time.
Timeless
Trends will come and go, but your wedding photographs should remain beautiful long after the day itself. Honest colour, beautiful light and thoughtful composition create imagery that feels refined, enduring and distinctly yours.

Planning something smaller?
I photograph elopements and intimate weddings throughout Northland and the Bay of Islands too. Just the two of you, a handful of your favourite people, or something completely your own. Shorter coverage is available for weekday elopements, so you don’t need to book a full wedding day when a few hours is all you need.
