Some weekends are just so memorable and this was one of them. Two weddings on the same weekend, the same location, the same venue, the same bridesmaids’ dresses and both couples by pure coincidence, worked in Singapore and flew into NZ for a Kiwi wedding in Russell. Neither couple knew each other prior to their weddings but found out afterwards they had friends in common. Such a small world!
Merle from Astonia and Andrew, a Kiwi came to Russell for their wedding. My introduction to Andrew was in the hotel room where he and his groomsmen were getting ready to jump off the Russell wharf in their matching budgy smugglers!!! The girls got ready in York House, a quirky, beautifully furnished house in Russell town center. I definitely recommend checking out this place if you’re after somewhere with fab personality!
The ceremony was in the gardens at Pompallier House and the reception at The Duke on the waterfront. Thanks for an awesome day hanging with you guys, such a wonderful weekend x
